I am fearful that I am starting to look like the Pillsbury Dough Girl...seriously.
I started stress eating when Fayeroe died. I've gained alot of weight in 4 months. I had to go to the thrift store to buy clothes that don't look stretched and bunched on me. I refuse to buy new (can't afford them either) clothes while fat because that seems like I'm excusing myself for being a tank.I'm trying to get back on the track with my meals. I have a big smoothie for breakfast and a light lunch. Small supper.
It is too hot to walk now. It was 94 at 10 p.m. last night. Walking any later than that subjects me to the nowboys that believe I want to hear their music more than I want to hear mine. (headphones/CDs)
Misery loves company. :-) Pat

Hi, I usually don't post because I don't know what to say.
I am very sorry for the pain of your loss. Losing a pet can be so hard. I do understand stress/grief eating. Its so hard to stop without something better in its place & until the pain is relieved somewhat.
I'm trying to loose weight...( and am losing) I gained 90+ lb after stopping therapy about 13 years ago. I wasn't small to start. I just started connecting that to my weight gain. Slowly the pounds crept up, past the first # that I thought I would never reach, then the next & so on.
I hope you find some good finds at the thrift shop. I sure do love to shop there & find a beautiful/interesting/presentable bargain.
Enjoy the smoothies. Sounds yummy. My main diet food is Kashi granola bars & yogurt & subway sandwich- 1/2 for lunch, 1/2 for dinner.
Too bad about the heat & walking. If I walk its late too. I'm not into morning exercise. I love water exercise & am lucky that my city has that for a reasonable fee.
good luck with all this.

Truffles at night at the computer even with excercise. Hormones added seem to be adding weight. I empathize. Grief is horrible. Love Phillipa

truffles. yum, yum.
Grief sure can do a number on us, especially if we live alone. We think too much.

thank you Pat! I will try to step out & post more. Thanks for reading my stuff :)
Sorry to hear about the hot weather! humid too? The weather will be nice here today, maybe a little warm. I froze at the beach last night & got chilled to the bone in spite of sweats, 3 t shirts & a jacket & a blanket. I finally warmed up this morning.
Today, I too, am determined "not to get mired down in thoughts". I like that a lot. That will be my thought for the day.I sent you a babblemail,
xxoo,
Mary
