I did like Michael Jackson. I am really more familiar with classical music but Michael Jackon made some very good, energizing songs.
I saw him in the German television ARD in a live show where he only came to greet people maybe 6 years ago. It was quite clear for me and a collegue said too that he was totally down being on drugs.
I believe that Michael Jackson was a great musician but probably a little naive concerning doctors who treated him. I am not that sure if every doc had a good intention.
Coincidentally Michael Jackson died with fifty years the same age Glenn Gould died (famous Goldberg variations).
Glenn Gould was an open drug addict (often spoke openly about his prefered drug valium) and hypochonder. Michael Jackson was probably the same.
Glenn Gould however had a different childhood and a lot of phobias, obsessions...
Michael Jackson seems to have had some other severe problems. Imagine if Michael Jackson never did something wrong with children how cruel then the society can be.
