Ok, first of all, since I last posted...I ended my 7 yr relationship with my boyfriend for numerous reasons, all good ones. I was a little sad at first, but I feel actually happier than usual now. I am on my way to a new chapter in my life, thats going to be more fun-loving, more adventerous, and FREE from the guy thats been weighing me down all this time! I am super excited.
I also re-connected with an old friend online, and am going to go visit him soon. Who knows if anything will come of it, but what happens, happens.
I have decided to go off of medication on a trial basis, because I feel clearer off of it, and I feel stable enough, even with the emotional turmoil i've been through the past few weeks with the break-up. So we're going to see how that goes.
I have started writing poetry again, and am very thrilled with it! I've even gotten some very positive feedback on my work, through a poetry website. I am compliling a book of my best work, entitled "Cloudydaze", and hope to publish it somehow.
I also just got a brand new Macbook Pro, after saving for it FOREVER! So hopefully I can either get some more freelance design projects, or an actual JOB!
Very very exciting things to come in my life!
I am also going to crack down and lose my extra weight! I know there's a thinner, happier girl in here somewhere!

Nice to hear all the positive developments, Cloudy.
Please have a safe plan for the med experiment-- do you have someone to monitor you, or trust you can monitor yourself?

I go off my meds all the time on accident...i can tell if I start to need them again, plus I am surrounded by family, so i shall be ok.
I asked my mom yesterday if I seemed "ok" and she said yes :)
I've already been off them for about a week and a half....and doing great!

Do be careful on quitting the meds. You are lucky that you can tell when to get back on them. When I have tried to quit, I get little warning that I am loosing control. Then I suffer the worst times of my life, and it takes weeks to get the meds working again. I do hope you can stay off. As for me, I will never try again.

> Dave~ ~ Dave - that sounds awful. When you've tried in the past, have you done it extremely gradually? When I went off Celexa I went off 1/4 pill at a time & stayed at each new level for a long time. When I got down to 1/4 pill, my next level was to bite the 1/4 pill in half!! LOL My doctor laughed at me, but he's so supportive he didn't make any comment.

Well, I started to feel quite uncomfortable getting cards or emails or phone calls from my ex every day for 2 weeks since I broke it off...so I sent him a rather blunt email saying to just leave me alone.
I feel like I am being stalked. He called me at least 8 times today, on my cell AND home phone...left me 2 emails and a myspace message...and is also harassing my best friend. If it does not stop I am going to have to file a restraining order. Thank GOD he is 6 hours away or he'd be busting my door down.
My best friend's boyfriend had a little chat with my ex and told him to leave me alone and basically threatened to come up there and straighten him out..heh. So he stopped calling after that at least.
And to answer your question, I will post some poems on here at some point...keep an eye out for them!
