Doing all kinds of preparations for the Spring Pottery Guild sale that I'm in.
Set up day is a week from tomorrow. I've spend HOURS today, pricing, putting prices stickers on, itemizing on computer etc.
I'll try to pop in as I can.

Ugh, I'm guessing all that's not as fun as creating the pottery. Hang in there. I hope it goes well and you sell lots of stuff!!!

Thx all,
I have finally got the photos of my pottery from my camera onto my computer. NOW to figure out how to get it HERE so you all can see my work!
I do 'handbuilding' (don't use the wheel). I make tiny doll house miniatures; jewellry; pate dishes; various plates & little bowls with butterflies & dragonflies that I handpaint.
I also do Raku, which is outdoor firing that gives the most AMAZING finishes. My friend & I did some today & the results were stupendous. Some of the colours are like the colours of oil spilled on water.
Anyway - with a sale in May & then Nov each year it DOES feel like time flies.
I'm pretty happy with some of my results in the stuff I've done for this sale.
:-)) Kath
PS - only 17 people in this sale - usually there are 27 or so - so I might sell quite a bit; on the other hand, people might not be buying as much due to the uncertain financial 'climate'.
This is the end of the thread.
