Suzy Q has been home with us for a week now, she is a Newfoundland, and is so awesome. Yesterday I took her to Pets Mart and she wanted to meet every person and puppy she came across. When we met the trainer, I showed him what she learned just this week, and she put us in an advanced class. She is already walking on a leash and is 75% potty trained. Can you tell I am such a proud momma? lol
We had her groomed too for the first time Sat. and the lady put pink bows in her hair. She was soooo cute!!! I wonder how she cute she would be with bows and weighing 120lb. lol

Her dad was 140 and her mom 115, so probably somewhere around that weight. They are known for their excellent disposition and are called a "gentle giant" or "nature's babysitter" Plus when I take her canoeing and If I flip, she will try to save me! lol

Actually for Halloween I want to dress her up like a princess! But what is cool about these dogs is that their metabolism is low compared to other dogs, so she will eat as much as a Lab when she is an adult.
