My check mainly has to go to bills, but I've decided to spend a portion on fun stuff for myself. First, I went and got my hair cut in a cute bob and bought big bottles of salon shampoo and product to maintain it. I'm also going to change my color from auburn to blonde - I'll do that myself this weekend. New hair styles perk me up like nothing else!
The other thing I decided on is to shop for a new futon cover (I use my futon as my couch). That is where the dilemma comes in. I've found a site with ones I really like, but if you have to return it you have to pay a for shipping and a 20% restocking fee. This is the main reason this is bothering me so much, I feel like I HAVE to pick the right one!!!
I've narrowed it down to two choices. The first one is very pretty, matches all my stuff perfectly, and would add a nice eclectic look to my living room. The second I absolutely fell in love with, its SOOOO pretty, but I'm not entirely sure the color and/or style will match my existing stuff. It MIGHT be okay, its just not the perfect match like the first one. But its so pretty!!!
I've actually already placed the order for the second one, but I still have time to cancel it. So of course I keep going back and looking at the swatches trying to decide if I made the right decision. I'm driving myself crazy! I've almost changed it to the first one twice already. Any opinions?

I know you don't know which would match my stuff, but heres some links anyway.
First one:

http://www.cottonwoodfutons.com/futon/938/I like the kind of Victorian look of the first one. I've actually been trying to figure out how to use that style in my decor because I like it so much. The second one has an Asian look, and its so bright and pretty! I just love looking at it!

Oh my heavens....
Well....IMHO you should go with your gut instinct and choice. First answer is usually the correct one.....do what will please you NOT others. They are both awesome!
This is a fun thing.....
Let me know which you actually get! then I will tell you which one was MY gut choice! That is...if you want to know!
Hugs,
Pam

Thanks! I'm definitely doing this to please myself, I never have anyone over! The first one just matches my curtains like they were made to go together, but the second one is my gut instinct, so I'll probably stick with that. They are both very different from my existing one, its a solid navy blue. I guess I'll probably be happy with either as long as it doesn't clash horribly. You never know what the color might turn out to look like.
Thanks for your opinion!!!

I vote for the Asian one. Love those reds! Maybe it's time for new curtains to match ;)

Thanks for your input everybody! I decided if it was bothering me that much I was probably being too impulsive (which I tend to be on occasion believe it or not!), so I canceled it. Whether I did it in time I don't know. If I did do it on time then I'll shop around some more, maybe at some local places where I can see the real thing and be able to return it. If it was too late, then I'll be getting the pretty red one I love, so that's not that bad. I'm just going to wait and see what happens.
