Thanks for the good wishes!

The baby is due middle of October.. I had my first scan last week and he is where he should be, with a nice strong heart beat, so all is going well this far.. *grins*

I'm in the middle of the constant nausea, total exhuastion etc etc which isn't as much fun s I thought it would be *l* But, all these symptoms are very reassuring that everything is still all OK.. Hubby is also completely excited, and very much taking the strain off me when it comes to chores at the moment. We finished telling our families this weekend, and everyone is thrilled too.

Again, thanks for the good wishes.. *grinning*

Nikki xx

woman, didn't you listen when i said 'don't ever get pregnant?' (oh, i'm jsut kidding! i'm thrilled!!! but, you do know that he has to come out somehow, right? and watching 'a baby story' on discovery channel jsut makes it worse!!!)

god, i feel for you about the whole nausea thing! i remember going to work and having to vomit in the parking lot on the way in. that's no good! lots of crackers!

i'm so very happy for you! you said 'he', so does that mean you know the sex? (i'm horrible, but i had to have a 2nd unltrasound done, becuase we decided the first time not to know the sex and then decided later on we wanted to know it..) boys are fun fun fun! (and if you want, you can still braid their hair, dress them in pink, all the thign syou do with a girl :)

gosh, i'm soooo happy for you!!!! keep us updated, you got it? and i bet you're glowing!

Congratulations, Nikki,

I might not really know you Nikki, but a baby is a wonderful precious gift. I know you and your H and family are thrilled. Enjoy yourself and take care!

Your fun is only beginning!

rsk

ps. the nauseau etc is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy so grin and bear it! My daughter's godmother is a clinicial nurse specialist and she says that all that throwing up is a good sign that all normal good hormones are on board and working like they should be. So eat your saltines to settle your stomach and be proud of your body doing its thing.

A tip:

If you get those horrible charley horses in your legs in the middle of the night:

Stand up! They will go away in an instant.

Counter-intuitive, but it works.
