I'm there, but I completely missed it. By the time I woke up, it had all melted away.

thats quite exceptional since I know that texas is more the state with shopping centers where ventilators are turned on cooling houses down to freezing temperatures whereas outdoors the temperatures can be hot.

It didn't even look like TX there for a while.

It was way more than we had a few days earlier. It was really pretty and everyone was building snowmen and everything.

Yesterday by noon everyone but me and a few other co-workers had gone home, but my boss said everyone was just over reacting and wanted me to stay until she got back from a photo shoot. I waited and waited while everyone kept leaving and telling me I better leave too. Finally she gets there, and then disappears for 30 minutes! Without even giving me the memory card so I could work on the photos!

I was in the midst of writing her a note telling her I didn't know where she went but I was leaving (it was 3:00 by now), when she finally showed back up. I just blurted out, "I'm ready to go!" She walked over to the window and looked out and didn't really say anything and I told her I would work longer today. So she finally says okay and I left.

Then on the way home I spun out and ended up straddling the median. Luckily I was going about 5 MPH, and there didn't happen to be a tree (although there are millions of them growing along the median), so everything was okay. I was just a nervous wreck driving the rest of the way home. When I called my boss and told her about it, she didn't even saying anything. I honestly think she thought I was making it up! She's such a weirdo.

Then today, I was doing my work and starting to freak out because here lately she has been on my back about the smallest things, and expecting me to know things I couldn't possibly know. But today she was unusually nice, which just confused me all the more.

Anyway, didn't mean to highjack the thread, I just needed to vent a bit.

I really think it just may be! They always say, if you don't like the weather in TX... just wait a minute. Over the years I've heard that saying attributed to about five different states, but I think it applies to TX the best though.

Now its pouring down rain. I love the rain though, there's something so peaceful and calming about it to me.

I wish I liked rain.

I think my dislike of rain stems back to my high-school years when the 'in' hairstyle was a very straight pouffy long hair with straight bangs & a flip at the bottom. MY hair is naturally curly.........so even if I managed to get it looking somewhat smooth in the morning, if there was any rain - FORGET IT!!! Maybe that's why I started not liking rain?

One can of stiff hairspray a day for the flip and a good comb for teasing. Mine was straight and slept in rollers. So the rain made mine fall. Love Phillipa
