I've decided I want to get more exercise and I've decided I can do it at work. LOL
Yesterday and today I marched in place for a total of 2 hours each day while working. I must look like a nut, but I don't care.
It doesn't affect my work. I like multitasking. I'm going to do two hours marching whenever I can at work. This way I don't need to take time out of my day for exercise.
People can stare at me, I don't care. LOL I'm going to get fit!
It's working, I know, because my legs hurt now!

Dear friend,
I find it most interesting...
and would like to hear what kind of business you are in? how is it possible to exercise during working...?
perhaps an ice hockey player like Teemu Selanne could do such thing... :) but not myself....... :) do you know the guy?

Deneb - what a brilliant idea!!!!!!!
You can also gradually increase the height of your steps (the distance your knees go up from the floor)....when they're up higher you'll look REALLY crazy. But what a great idea!!!!!!
luv, Kath

I work as a market research interviewer. I work in a call centre and am on the phones all night. Usually I wear a headset and sit there all night talking on the phone, but now I'm just marching in place and talking on the phones.
People are allowed to study, read, knit, bead, etc. while working. I figure marching in place would be allowed. It doesn't interfere with my work and it's much better than sitting.
I got the idea from this article I read about this idea of having treadmills in the office. The idea was to have this very low speed treadmill at a work station, with a computer and everything. People will walk at low speeds while working and they can end up burning a lot of calories doing this long low intensity work.
