I've been really sensitive today. The tiniest thing has brought me to tears. I hate being so pathetic. Sometimes I wish I didn't have a heart. I want to build a nice wall around me and stay hidden inside it. It's easier not to let people in. They can't hurt me if I keep them outside. Why can't I just keep them outside?

Sorry it's one of those days.
Tina, do you have a T? Sorry, can't remember if you said.
I suspect I said I thought it would be very beneficial for you.
I send big hugs, for what that's worth.
You're a very sensitive person, & I think life is hard for those of us who are sensitive (probly most folks here!).
luv, Kath

I'm a very sensitive person too. You wouldn't happen to be a Pisces too would you? I guess that really doesn't matter, but I've just found Pisces to be very sensitive as a rule.
I read a book that helped me out a lot. Here's a website for it: http://www.hsperson.com/
There's a test there you can take that can be very enlightening. After reading up on this type of thing, I realized that the fact that I'm a highly sensitive person isn't something to be ashamed of. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be the person that I am. Its hard because it means you tend to get hurt easier than most people, but it also means you can empathize more than most. Try to accept your sensitive nature as an asset. But you also have to keep in mind that you have to take care of yourself if ever want to be able to help others.
There's also the fact that you may very well be in a legitimate situation to be feeling like you do! Don't disregard you feelings, there's a reason for them!
I hope you feel better soon!

I'm Feb 19 right between Pisces & Aquarius. I tend to think of myself as Pisces...LOVE anything to do with the ocean, streams, water, etc EXCEPT I don't like Rain.
I am VERY analytical though, which I think is an aquarius trait.
Tina, I hope today is a better day for you.

Hi TC
Thanks for the advice. There was a little bit of a legitimate reason for me to be sensitive but I still don't like getting weepy over the smallest thing. It makes me angry but i guess getting angry isn't very productive either.
I'll check out that website and quiz.
Thanks
Tina
