I'm about to head off to the office. There is a lot to catch up on, babble wise, so fill me in..
And GG - send your cow over here. It'll be safe. And free.
I'll try to put together something about what I've been up to, but it'll be on another board.

Hi Auntie Mel,
I may live in the dairy State, but the closest cows are at the Zoo. I suppose I could try to sneak one out.
Do tell about India, I've always wanted to go there.
Have some curry for me.

India! Exciting! How long are you there?
When you bring us up to date, can you link it from Social, even if it's on another board? I'd love to catch up.

Well, it's busy as can be over here.
I'm here to do a course, and luckily I arrived a week early. It turned out that the course materials I have were designed for a different operating system than the one we have. It took the better part of the week to get things to work here, but they are [and I look like a hero, 'cause folks on 3 continents had failed to come up with a solution]
Sunday we went to Rishikesh, the place that gave John Lennon a different mind set and good music. It's one of the holiest places here and has the most amazing temples.

On the way back we stopped at Hardiwar, where people to to cleanse themselves in the Ganges. It was interesting that the banks of the river has chains along it - people chain themselves to keep from being washed down river. The water is pretty fast along there.

That part of the Ganges is also where many people come to disperse the ashes of their relatives.
The other people from my company who were doing courses are gone now, and I'm on my own.
This Sunday I'm heading back to Delhi, where I have a day before my flight home. I hope to hop a tour bus to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.
Meanwhile I've got to find a way to recharge my camera battery.
And - Kath - the other post is on grief.
This is the end of the thread.
