I just found out that decaffeinated coffee have enough caffeine to make a difference. Drinking 5 to 10 cups of decaf equals one cup of regular coffee.
Before I started drinking decaf I drank in moderation, probably 1-2 cups of caffeinated coffee per day.
Now, ever since my pdoc told me to stop taking in caffeine, I've gone wild on decaf, thinking I can drink as much as I want without any consequences!
On Friday I must have drank like 6 cups of decaf tea and today I've had 3 cups of decaf coffee. I still have 2 cups on the pot and I'm going to drink that too.
Oops. LOL I think maybe I should limit my coffee consumption to 1-2 cups/day, too bad, b/c I found this really nice vanilla hazelnut decaf. coffee. It tastes like candy when I add sweetener and milk to it.

I think it depends what kind you buy.
Carbon dioxide method is suppose to be very effective removing caffeine... 97 to 99.9 percent caffeine-free./Netch
