Of couse i wasnt going to give you something thing that was going to make you not know what to say.Many of you where around during this time. 1989, lots of things happened, berlin wall, communism, trasition over to 90's. Madonna....
But why did this video cause so much conterersy by the catholic churchs.
What is it that in this video thats angering? contervisal?Its "Like a Prayer" by Madonna

I guess cuz she's dressed provocatively in a church, dances in front of burning crosses, and the thing with the police and the black guy...some people might think she is suggesting that cops are out to get black people? Those are my guesses.

i read up on it. THis is psst.. old news 1989...
But madonna really had some wierd kind of religious message in that video. But now today madonna is i think kabbbla? uuu misspelled. But i rerember she actaully spoke to the catholic church and condemed them back....because she was accused of her (Blond ambition tour 1990) to blaspmany, and twisted truths.
Here is that speech she gave in 1990 directly to the catholic church....here it is. It is pretty intese. That why they canncel some shows, and put a catorogy on her. Because she did this speech and the tour.

I thibk its raw and real, but the part I personally find repugnant and confusing is the part, its VERY brief, but where the guy kisses her in a more intimate way.....that part I don't 'get' at all....????
And the dancing might not be well accepted by many, but mabe she did that on purpose, the people accepted her the way she was, dancing and all. She was expressing her intensity.
But the guy that intimate kissed her, was he supposed to be a saint or something?, cuz I reckon that'd REALLY piss the church off!
I too beleive very firmly in God.
But I am angry w/Him too.
