Or rather, Jammerlich is visiting with me!! And the weather is kind of overcast so we haven't been too uncomfortable walking around. It's been great talking and talking and talking.... we also went to the Salvador Dali Museum, and I have decided that if he was still living, he would definitely be a member of PsychoBabble.

CS is the best hostess ever (along with Dr. Noodle, of course)!! She started our morning by taking me to a great street market. So many interesting things I would love to take home, if only I had space in my luggage. We also visited a wonderful artist's co-op where I purchased a very pretty necklace made of crocheted wire and purple stones. And, yes, Dali would fit in perfectly here.Jammer

We had a lovely evening at a free jazz festival, though the crowds were daunting. I pointed out Clearwater's features to Jammerlich (those would be the Scientologists) and we sat in beach chairs on the fringe of an enormous concert, listening to Arturo Sandoval. I really enjoyed his Cuban music, though when he started to play around on the synthesizers, it stopped being fun for me. A little bit of fusion goes a long way for these ears!
Since we ate a late-ish lunch, we skipped dinner. I really enjoyed showing off my little corner of the world, and getting to know my fellow Babbler better. Jammerlich is a gem. I think that I am going to go to the APA meeting in May so that I can play with the Babblers there.

Ohhhhhhhhhh you lucky ones!
It makes me feel sort of 'achey' not to get to meet any of my fellow babblers. I did once, some years ago. I live near Toronto & someone from Ottawa came to my house!!! It was wonderful.
I'm so happy for you two!
So how far apart do you live? And how long a visit?

Well, Kath, according to my airline ticket, I flew about 900 miles, so ClearSkies and I aren't exactly close! And we only had one day together; but, it was a very, very good day.
ClearSkies told me those Scientologists would all look the same, and she was right. It was a little creepy, actually....little clones scurrying about. Thankfully, it didn't seem they had infiltrated the festival!
I hope she doesn't mind my saying so, but ClearSkies has the most beautiful skin I have EVER seen. She looks airbrushed! If I didn't like her so much, I'd have to hate her out of jealousy.
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) meeting is in Washington, D.C. next May. Maybe you can come, too, and we can all play together!!
