Ive seen this before, and I think I must be crazy, but I see her turning counterclockwise at first, then she changes to clockwise.
Seldom.

Same here you are not crazy and I've watched her switch three times but more time spent going to the right. So what does that mean? Phillipa

I can't see her switch at all! I've tried staring, squinting, looking at it sideways, nothing. I can only see her going counter-clockwise. I'm pretty sure I'm left brained though, so it makes sense.

She goes clockwise, around and around, so I guess I'm right brained.

Mostly she goes clockwise for me, suggesting right brain, but I see her turn and to the other way for a bit too, so some left brain. No wonder I am having trouble since the damn ECT, Right unilateral. I have always considered myself more of a right brain person even before this, and so, all I can say is sh*t on ECT and the pdoc who recommended it for me last March.

Yup! She switched back and forth, and after reading the right vs left, i think i'm both anyway...That's good right?

I gotta' say I agree w/ sometimesblue. I too thought I saw her switching at first (No, I'm not just making this up now :), but thought I was supposed to answer clearly 'clockwise or counterclockwise'.
Was startin' to feel kinda' bad about lack of left-sided brain activity.

Ah!, I'm jealous LOL. I really want to see her go clockwise! LOL
Argh, no matter how hard I try I ONLY see her going anti-clockwise. I read about the leg switching sides thing, but I still cannot see her going clockwise.
Dr. Bob, do you see it going clockwise or anti-clockwise?

I see her going clockwise! Woohoo! Now how do I get her to go back to counterclockwise? LOL
Oh, I just made her go back to counterclockwise!

Wow, I tried and tried and couldn't get it to go counter-clockwise. =(
I think my brain is going to suffer permanent damage if I look at that thing one more time. =p

LOL Michael.
It sure gets frustrating looking at it and nothing happening! LOL
Here's a tip for looking at it: Try looking at the legs only and look at different dimensions of it. You see the figure in 3D, so try seeing it at another angle. Hmmm...I dunno how to explain. This reminds me of those Magic Eye things that suddenly pop out at you. Our brains do amazing things.
It took me a while, but I was able to get it to switch directions back and forth.

Hey Michael 83 .. you prob' can't get it now because you're trying so hard.
Remember when you first looked at it and didn't know what to expect, that's when you see her shift, in those first few movements. And, who read the qualities before they did the test? This could make a difference. Don't look at the dang thing again! (Now ya' got me wantin' to. Hate it when someone tells me not to do something, don't you?) It's like IQ tests; can be different every time. Down w/ labels!

I think people get too constrained by this right brain/left brain thing.
I prefer to think outside the brain.

I had her moving both way..it seems when I moved my eyes off her for a second she would switch directions.

wow this thing is cool. when i first looked at it, she was going anti-clockwise (left). took another look, and she was going clockwise (right).... and now i cannot see her going anti clockwise at ALL!!! no matter what, she permanently goes clockwise...
