I love my dog

Posted by Dinah on July 26, 2007, at 10:12:13

I hadn't realized how fond I was of the little house elf until he got his teeth cleaned and was completely not his eternally cheerful and energetic self for several days. The house seemed dimmer without him bouncing about.

He's one of the least intelligent dogs I've ever met, but he more than makes up for it with his happy and gentle disposition.

lol. I'd rather have a pal than an Einstein. He sounds like a good buddy to have around.

Well, I confess there comes a point where lack of intelligence can be a problem to the household.

But he seems to have grasped the basics now (The bed is *not* the potty place, etc.).

And he's a guaranteed smile. :)

Not well. She declined quite a bit and then stabilized. There's definite brain damage, but she's happy and she gets around ok. Her medication doseage finally seems right. She needed a lot, poor thing.

Hopefully that will keep her stabilized. And unfortunately that's all we can hope for, according to my vet. She'll never be close to normal again. All we can hope is that she doesn't get worse. At least not quickly. Long term, her prognosis is very very poor.

I have a cat that will climb behind the blinds to look out the window and then can't figure out how to get out again.

The same cat once when she was little was chasing her tail - caught it with her claw - and then wouldn't let it go. Just laid there and yelled for me to help her.

I think she might be a tad bit inbred (ya think?) but she's the most loving cat I've ever had.

Right as rain now. :) (nm) » Kath

Dinah what wasn't adorable was the night I came home from work looked out the window my cat was climbing a tree and a dalmation bit off his tail. It was laying there under the tree. Didn't seem to bother him. He just had a shorter tail. Love Phillipa our cat now is a housecat.
