The best easter candy in the world

Posted by PhytoEstrogen on April 6, 2007, at 23:01:34

Mass marketed easter candy:

tie between jelly belly beans

and

hershey's candy coated eggs. crunchy candy on the outside. delicious hersheys on the inside

runner up is the malted milk ball easter eggs. but then i eat too much get sick

ditto with cadbury cream eggs. it's not like you can eat half and save the rest for later. once you've bitten into it. you're committed. and they are just about 18 percent too large and make me feel ick

:P

what are your favorites. i like this place

without a doubt. They are just sugar and the best thing is that they last well past the 4th of July!

I should be concerned about that, but strangely I'm not.

Cadbury's Easter Creme Eggs now come in a mini size (packed 12 to an egg-crate style box). Much less worry about waste... not that I would ever NOT finish one of the regular sized eggs.

At Cadbury World, near Birmingham, England, they have a Creme Egg car on display. I think it's a disguised golf cart. The factory tour is the best I've been on; they give you an empty bag at the beginning and fill it with samples as you go along.

Yum.

Does Godiva make Easter Candy? I can only eat Godiva at the moment. It's a curse, but it's all I can eat.

I hope they make some chocolate eggs!

(Of course, I"m Jewish, so I'm only celebrating in a limited way-- that being with chocolate eggs...)

Cadburry eggs are good but the best is the reeses peanut butter things that are shaped like eggs. They come in the little yellow packages. They also have trees at Christmas time, hearts at Valentines day, etc. Theyre much tastier than the regular old reeses. :)

I'm eating Cadbury mini eggs right now. They are good! The roof of my mouth is getting a little raw though, from eating so many.

Today I noticed that they have them in dark chocolate as well as milk choc. Anyone else a 'dark chocolate lover' ?
Anyone tried them?
