I wish I could work but emotionally I feel I'm too sick but I sit here in front of the computer bored and scared . Anyone else feel that way? Meds don't work , money running out and without money no meds no docs and I have a bunch of physical stuff also that means for specialists and med, tests. I'm about to give up at my age. Hi Phillipa,
I work as a freelancer so sometimes work is sporadic and lately I've been spending alot more time at home too. It can be boring. But at least we have Babble and can visit with others via computer. :)
I find the financial aspect of healthcare very frightening. Even if you're lucky enough to have insurance, the coverage is oftentimes inadequate. Do you have good docs that will work with you as far as thats concerned?
Have you been on your meds long? Have you given them a chance to really kick in? Will they let you switch to different meds if these don't work?
Hey what's this stuff about being too old and wanting to give up? You're never too old for anything, especially the things that might improve your quality of life!
