Man, you're lucky. I really want snow, and we're not getting any! It's 11 degrees C today, and it's suppose to go up to 20 tomorrow which is really really weird for this time of year

If I figured it right, that's about 52°F & 68°F. Wow that's Texas weather!
Snow here isn't like snow up north, it'll be pretty for a day and everyone will be in awe, then it'll all turn into ice. I hate to admit I'm kind of excited about seeing it though. Its been so long!
The biggest danger in getting out in it is people here just don't know how to drive on icy roads (myself included). Its like we've suddenly been transfered to an alien environment and everyone's sliding around everywhere like bumper cars.
My commute to work is so long (an hour) that I won't chance it if its icy. But sometimes they make a big old deal about it and then it turns out to be nothing. So we'll see tomorrow. My work said they'd pay us for the day off, but I can't just bail for no good reason. It would just look bad.

Put something heavy in your trunk it will help keep your car from skidding. I think it's rain for us I hope the cold dosen't get here I think 50's on the weekend. Well we'll see. Flu rampant too in NC. Love Phillipa ps wash your hands all the time stay out of crowds and don't touch a thing. No Christmas Shopping yeah!!!!!!

A snow day? Lucky lucky you! We NEVER EVER get snow days. EVER. I would love to have just one, just to "experience" it. It got up to 16 degrees today. Almost bathing suit weather!! LOL But, we're suppsoe to get snow tomorrow afternoon!!! I really really hope so
