I got fired on Saturday. I didn't even hate the job. I liked it, I was only there for a month, but anyway...posts on other boards, tears to be shed and messages left with headhunters who better call me back.
So I will be the head of the I Don't Have a Job to Hate Club until I get a job then I will fullfill my duties of the original club.

hey, i hear that. i don't have a job to hate right now either (and i beg and plead for someone, anyone!!!) else to stay home with kids. (with the exception of mine of course. he's perfect) i'm looking into exchanging my 'i don't ahve a job to hate' official badge with a 'i wish i had stayed home with kids instead fo working at this stupid place' badge.
(((poet)))) sorry to hear about that. guess we're going to have to switch names and badges and become an alltogether new club. how bout 'everything sucks and i wish i was still in the womb' club? yes, that sounds nice right now (though my mother is the devil (i swear!~!!!!) not so sure about that womb. perhaps another womb to rest for 9 months?
take care of yourself. and jsut you watch. you'll be back to hating a new job in no time (at that point, we'll rename our club again, at your discretion of course. you pick the next anme (that's just one of the 'perks' of our club. too bad it doesn't include holiday pay and a week's vacation.)

I have not had a paying job for a very long time.
I have no one to blame but myself.
Can I join your club?
My contributions about employment will be limited by my ignorance.
Perhaps I could make the tea?

Can I join too? It is my DH that might not have a job in 60 days.
I find it ironic that the place that my DH met is going bankrupt, at the same time as my marriage goes bankrupt. hmmmmm. and the owner stood up for us in our wedding. hmmmm....

Can I be in it too? I got "laid off" at the end of the summer because it was seasonal work.

What should our first meeting be about?

p.s. meetings will be informal and held in the cyber space setting you are must comfortable in. No stuffy conference rooms for this club.

I think increasing unemployment benefits is an excellent topic.
I would like my vacation, holiday and health insurance plans re-evauluated as there seems to be something lacking in them.

A proposal to enhance (the bureacrats should like that) the mental health of those affected by subsidised travel, accommodation (including room service) and health insurance, in historic locations such as the Amalfi Coastline.
This is the end of the thread.
