I'm going to see a new pdoc. He's here in Charlotte and wrote a book that I don't know how to do double double quotes for. Read his book and he's Indian and believes in listening to the patient. Also he's sad at the health care system. He sounds like a good man and bases meds on the patient. My Daughter sees him and she's doing great. She really was never bad. But his name is googleable V. Sagar Sethi,MD,Phd. Name of book is on Amazon I think. Very quick reading called "Solving Psychiatric Puzzles". Any one ever read it? Love Phillipa

I read the book excerpt at amazon and he sounds like a really good person! I'm happy for you and hope he turns out to be someone who can help. Let us know how things go when you see him.

It won't turn into a link until you actually post it. Then it turns into a link.

Phillipa, just tried it -- you have to put the quotes twice around it " like this " only without the spaces -- then it will turn into a link.

Haha
Phillipa,
did your new pdoc make any changes? suggestions? teach you anything useful?happy to hear about your double-quotes success. It's tricky!
the thing that I always forget is to scroll down the page and click on the correct bubble for the book I intend to link. Then I have to remember to click on the box for "submit link" then to the "confirm post" button.
several steps, but once you've done it 49 times, you've almost mastered it...

Li I haven't seen him yet two weeks. My Daughter sees him though. I liked his compassion for patients in the book so thought I would try him. Haven't stopped with the other yet. Reserving my judgement til I see him and get the results back from the endocrinologist. I just hope it's in time. Love Phillipa

That sounds like a good plan. It would certainly be a relief for you to have a pdoc that is closer to you. Plus, it's good that he's treating your daughter, as sometimes the psychmeds that are effective for our relatives are effective for us too. (similar bodies and stuff)
crossing my fingers for you :)

Thanks Li she's on low dose zoloft and seroquel for sleep. And my Sister is also on zoloft (we don't speak I have no reason why) and I e=mail with her Daughter and she's on zoloft too. And once they gave 200mg of zoloft to my Son for his PTSD from losing his eyesight in Desert Storm. He went off it as he doesn't believe in meds. Sound familiar? Love Phillipa
