emotional overload#8594;physical reaction

Posted by capricorn on October 18, 2006, at 15:51:33

i get the fluey thing which lasts usually about 6-24 hours when i am stressed or too emotionally out of sorts. It's like the emotional shock causes a physical reaction.
I am also reacting worse than usual to the change in weather with regards to my knees etc hurting which is different from the fluey type pains.

The emotional overload- flu like reaction is not new for me though i have never told my pdoc etc about it. I don't think many pdocs etc are very sympathetic understanding about that kind of thing.I can also get a short lived fluey reaction after being caught out in wet weather.
I strongly believe in emotional stress-autoimmune reaction from years and years of going through this kind of thing.

Yes,
stress messes up the whole body- mentally and physically.

It's almost like little pieces of stress float around in our blood vessels and attack whatever's feeling kind of "fragile"

I'm so sorry you've got the melancholies.

Take care of yourself- hot baths, eat something that feels like it will help you- either healthy food or comfort food. Give your body what it's asking for.

Hydration- very important. Herbal teas, and diluted fruit juices will help you recover.

hope you feel a little better today?
