I could waste time a hundred times faster than dial-up.

Bobby, I look at your post topics and sort of brace myself before opening them. A few times I've forgetten it's you and opened them innocently, and taken a full-force pun impact right to the brain.
I was ready for you this time.
But seriously you should get DSL. Your time-wasting will be much more stimulating with faster page-loads. And it will open up the world of YouTube to you.
(OK am I dumb to believe you really don't have DSL? was it just the setup for your joke?)

Bah! Cable is the way to go. 4M downstream speeds? DSL won't catch that. Of course, 1M is usually more than enough (unless you need the accompanying upload boosts) -- networks being what they are, right now the Internet I is just too slow to keep up.
I have hit file download speeds over 600KBps, though, which is nice for large files.

I have 8Mb download speed on UK ADSL (think its pretty similar to US DSL) ;) And its pretty affordable too
Only 512Mb upstream though which is very frustrating.. I want more, but to get that is *very* expensive..

Bear with meWhew! just had to blow my nose, that's all. Order is restored.
Bobby, you must have some incredible patience to do babblechat over a satellite connection. bless you! achoo!
