planned their perms, hair removal with Nair, and self-tanning with QT from Coppertone on the same day with no further plans for the day as using those products pretty much made you smell as if you had been embalmed.
I heard this recently and rolled as it was so true!!!

I think you forgot the "Sun In" When used correctly it would enable you to match your hair to your newly tanned legs

Guess I'm older than you all we used peroxide to lighten our hair and there was no sunscreen. A tan was healthy. Now I'm covered with brown spots. Love Phillipa ps I still use a razor to shave. Never been waxed.

YES!! That lovely becoming orange color that resembled (on me) an orange Tootsie Pop and felt like a rusting Brillo Pad. With the Nair bumps, well, it was so, so appealing.

Don't forget the Noxema and Sea Breeze astringent. Then you splashed on liberal amounts of Jean Nate!
Damn, we must have stunk!

Followed by Protein 21 conditioner? The split end mender? I remember a high school rumor it contained glue to glue 'em back together.

And as any good mother would have, I gave her shots with these huge syringes my dad used to inject cattle so she wouldn't get sick.
And when she got constipated from the food lodging in her little tube, I cleaned her out with a wire coat hanger.
She was my favorite. Big sigh. I still remember what her food tasted like. ;~}

Let's see, there was Love's Baby Soft, I remember that, and Bonne Bell's Lip Smackers and 10-0-6 toner, and Dittos jeans with the "saddle" shape to them? (Of course, now we have full seat breeches, with the same shape to the suede. Maybe designed by someone our age? lol) Oh, and Britannia jeans -- they had things like the sailor style front, or lace up hipsters...Oh, man! C'mon, guys! It was hard enough getting through all that the first time... Not sure I need to go back there again...
OH! But there was Twice As Nice shampoo, too -- remember that? A sort of proto-Pantene. Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific, Herbal Essences, I can't seem to remember the other that's on the tip of my tongue...
And don't forget all the fruit flavored wines! Annie Greensprings! Ugh. Foul. The Blue Nun commercials were great, though! Remember? Stiller and Meara?
I'm sure I'll remember more, just as soon as I hit submit...

I loved my Baby Alive too. I remember how excited I was on Christmas morning when I found her. She was the one thing I really really really wanted for Christmas.
I found her recently, and although her cap of hair had fallen off I'd have kept her if her batteries hadn't corroded and leaked all over her.
Poor Baby Alive.
I found some dried out food packets too. As was my custom, I hoarded them so I wouldn't run out, then ended up not using all of them. :(
I remember their taste too. :)

I loved Love's Baby Soft. Especially the lemon scent.
Until recently, at least, you could still find it! I've got some in my bathroom right now.
My husband *really* likes it. It reminds him of younger days, and his sexy young girlfriend (who somehow became me).

About 15 years ago, I worked at a place that pretty much had us working 70 hours per week, but my boss would have a party for us every Friday. (I think if she hadn't, we'd have mutineed. We'd have beaten our mechanical pencils into swords...) Anyway, she used to buy Kosher wine, for some reason, I think just ignorance. One guy in teh department loved it, because it was so sweet.
You know? That's a better memory... I liked that boss...
