The pictures are great. You were an adorable little boy. And you're quite a handsome young man. Nice piano music in the background, too.

I assumed 'you' were in PX, PhoenixGirl! Have you ever been to Paris, Georgia?

i agree :)

The site is neat. I was hoping to start a site this summer, but didn't get around to it. I wanted to buy a web domain...

It would be a good place to showcase my art.

Nice! (nm)

I have (In the past) misjudged you, and first of all i should not be judging ANYBODY, second of all you seem to be a very kind, bright, talented, and nice looking young man, and with all that going for you i see nothing but success in your future. :)

hello!

Yes, its a very nice site. Clean and simple and refreshing. Like an apple.

Whats the music on the 'about me' page. I love it! I know I should know, but I've forgotten.

I tried treaching science to 11-16 year olds - I had a breakdown after only 6 months and quit. Its tough.

And do you know who runs the biopysch website? I've always wondered. Whoever it is, they go to a hell of a lot of effort. Its good.

Kind regards

Meri

hi Link,
Thanks for the classical music on your webpage :)
I'm a violinist. I'm 27. It's so nice to see another 20-something who loves classical.

Appropriate that you have Pachelbel's Canon in D when you seek to escape the bounds of time? That's one piece that can go on forever (especially if you're playing the bass line!)

Do you know the Chaconne from Bach's solo violin (sonata? partita?) It's one of the most profound things he ever wrote for my instrument. monumental. it's in d minor. It's like organ music composed for the violin. Like the Canon in D, it's variations on a single chord progression. Gorgeous. He*laciously difficult to play. I can't even attempt it anymore. it's too profound to bear playing out of tune or sloppily.

I may, I'll look it up on the classical archives.

I knew it I knew it I knew it (but I didn't want to say because I'm rubbish at music - although I'm proud to say I have cello grade III, not much I know, but still!!)!!!!!

It is my favourite piece of music of all time. I have four versions of it (my favourite being in D by 'Karl Münchinger & Stuttgarter Kammerorchester' very string-y which obviously I like being an ex-rubbish-cellist. which was alright because cellos always get the rubbish parts anyway (except Greensleeves). Although I liked your version of it. Very subtle.

Also, probably number two in my favourite pieces of music of all time is 'Le Onde' by Ludovico Einaudi on the piano. It is simply beautiful and I know when I'm seriously depressed because I will listen to it constantly. It has the power to move me to tears when I listen to it. Its simply amazing. You can sample it on iTunes.

Canon in D major is for when I'm happy; Le Onde is for when I'm depressed. When I had my first depressive episode I wandered the streets of London in the rain listening to Le Onde on repeat.

Kind regards

Meri

Very nice website!

I do have a question about the following link:

A link to the PDSP database of drug entries with receptor affinities.

http://kidb.cwru.edu/pdsp.php

It doesn't seem to go to the website it should, or do I just not know where to look.

Thanks!
