I am a strongly right handed person.
Last fall, I taught myself to use the computer mouse with my left hand. It took 1 day to master point and click 1 week to master scrolling, and slightly longer to master highlighting sections of text, dragging and dropping. about 2 weeks to do drawing and graphics stuff. I didn't change the configuration of the R and L mouse buttons. I just picked up my mouse and moved it to the left side, because my right hand was in pain from tendinitis. Now I'm a circus freak. I can play mouse with my left hand, and use my right hand to take notes and scribble on the page. it's really fun. It's pretty cool to feel your brain rewiring like that.

If you've ever tried to switch keyboards from standard to Dvorak, you know what a freaking pain that is. fortunately, switching mouse hands is NOWHERE near as complicated. unless you're really into graphics and gaming, you can be fairly competent in a few days. make the switch on the weekend.
don't give in to your right hand. it will say 'gimme the mouse, you dummy! you're so slow, you so sloppy! gimme gimme!!' left hand reaches over, gently slaps right hand. I'll teach you a thing or two, righty. I may be controlled by the quiet hemisphere, but that don't make me a dummy. i may be a follower, but i'm still coordinated. i may be weaker and clumsier, but i'm nicer. i get to wear the wedding ring. i get to wear the watch. that's my reward for my hard work.

And you can do this with your freakishly flexible hips contorted in some strange yoga position too, I suppose?
That would be a sight!

dude, you have NO idea.
My physical therapist is trying to get me to sit like a normal human being (i.e. with 2 feet on the ground, and my head above my heart). I prefer to sit like a pretzel, a very very underbaked pretzel, in zero gravity.

yep, I try to use my feet for all they're worth. We are primates after all. I have a prehensile little toe.

My next big project will be mousing with my feet. I think the prehensile little toe can work one button, and my big toe can work the other one.
This will be really easy in the summer , when I wear sandals.

What you said made me remember a hilarious tech support call that was taped and transcribed.....the computer wouldn't work, no matter how hard she pushed the pedal.....errr mouse.
Anyway, I couldn't find it, I was so busy laughing at these. Curt, here's something for you to do instead of puzzles.
