Anyone know of a grey beard color?

Posted by greywolf on June 2, 2006, at 22:37:43

No, not to get rid of the grey, but to add more. I have a mostly grey beard, except for two areas that are black. It would look a lot better (especially because the black stands out even at a distance) if it was all grey, but I can't find a grey beard color anywhere. There's everything to get the grey out or cover it up, but nothing to accentuate it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Theatrical make-up supply places definitely have it. Spray on, comb-in, or liquid dye. Pretty sure about all three.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep looking, but around here none of the stores carry such products. I'll chase down Lar's suggestion of a theatrical makeup store.

Thanks.

p.s. I'm tempted to say that I feel the world would be better off without grey hair, but that wouldn't be true and it might violate the civility rules (even though it's an "I" statement). :)

I have (& frequently wear) a gray T-shirt with the following words in white letters:

Gray hair is a small price to pay for this much wisdom.

I LOVE that T-shirt!!!!!!!!!!!

My gray hairs are white though. I rather like white. I still have tons of brown ones yet.
