If you can"t wait for the weekends to drink, does that make you an alcoholic?
Sometimes I count down the days until I can unwind and drink a few drinks.

you can have a few drinks on the w/end and not be an alcoholic. there are many other factors when considering if you're an alcoholic. i *think* the #1 factor being that the alcohol controls you.

Lynn what are a few drinks? I started on 3 beers on the weekend and before I quit I was up to 6beers nightly after work with my xanax. And I didn't stop breathing like that say you will I felt great the next day I knew my limits. But the looking forward has me concerned. Love Phillipa ps was I an alchocholic?

When alcohol is whatyou spend alot of time thinking about, well thats not such a good thing i'd say.

I don't think that I have a problem. My friends and I went out Tuesday night. (We were extremely stressed out due to some situations at work) Anyway, I drank way too much. I said that I would never drink again. Well, tonight I drank two beers. It is Friday. The bad thing is that I said this morning that I will not drink this weekend.
Do you think that I should totally quit drinking?
