i am looking for authentic responses, not dramatic ones folks :)
if you're having trouble, imagine what ring tone a friend would choose to represent you on their phone...

Maybe "I Feel Lucky" by Mary Chapin Carpenter or "Beautiful Goodbye" by Amanda Marshall.

And not just because she's Canadian!
I'm naked
And I'm crazy
And I'm peeling back the layers
Like an Onion GirlDon't get too close
Or I might make you cry

I'd make G.W. Bush listen to this song a few million times...
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death’s construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds, oh lord yeah!Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poorTime will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait ’till their judgement day comes, yeah! Now in darkness, world stops turning
As the war machine keeps burning
No more war pigs of the power
Hand of God has sturck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
All right now!

one of the things Capricorns are plagued by is excessive good taste.my own pick would be New Order's "Everything's Gone Green." because that's my favorite color, its sleeve is absolutely beautiful- http://www.niagara.edu/neworder/singles/egg.html
i really love that sleeve, it evokes synaethesia in me. you hear the song when you see it.

I made a poor decision in haste, as I often do in life, but I would like to change my song. The first verse goes like this:
If there's one thing in my life that's missing,
It's the time I spend alone,
Sailing on the cool and bright clear waters.
There's lots of those friendly people,
Showin me ways to go,
And I never want to lose your inspiration.I would like to dedicate this to all of you.
Can anyone tell me what the name of the song is and who the artist is?curtm

well, i guess all the votes are in now...i loved reading all your answers, my auditory friends....so interesting! although some of you picked some strange ones! hehe lol. guess you ignored my instructions. just kidding love you guys.:-) i feel like i know you all a little bit better now. well done.:)
i was having trouble picking a song myself...i was gonna pick "bittersweet symphony" but decided to change it to "bohemian rhapsody" by queen. when i am feeling upset/depressed this is the *only* song that makes me feel better lol...i relate to it. yet it is lighthearted..just awesome...
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality
Open your eyes, Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to meMama, just killed a man, Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh, Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
carry on, carry on as if nothing really mattersToo late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time
Goodbye, ev'rybody, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooh, I don't want to die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at allI see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very fright'ning me
(Galileo.) Galileo. (Galileo.) Galileo, Galileo figaro
Magnifico. I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go
(Let me go.) Will not let you go
(Let me go.) Will not let you go. (Let me go.) Ah
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
(Oh mama mia, mama mia.) Mama mia, let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for meSo you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta hereNothing really matters, Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to meAny way the wind blows

Artist and title:If there's one thing in my life that's missing,
It's the time I spend alone,
Sailing on the cool and bright clear waters.
There's lots of those friendly people,
Showin me ways to go,
And I never want to lose your inspiration.
