Please stay muffled. I think he does listen. It is just that change is slow... And to be fair I think it has to be 'cause change is traumatic (for me anyways)
Yeah... People do want things deleted at various times (for a variety of reasons)
because someone irl wants to use posts as court evidence
because someone irl knows who their board identity is which can be humiliating
because they feel offended by something
because they regret something.i know another board that deletes (my) posts left right and centre and i don't like that :-( though to be fair that is the other extreme.
i guess what can be hard is in figuring when to do it when not to do it if it is more than a fairly black and white rule (as it is now regarding identifying info ) then there needs to be a way to decide.
i commend auntiemel for doing what she did.

but then i guess bob was always gonna restore it (cause he had ruled on it already...)
also... if the original is deleted... then how about jyl replicating it in her own post?
