Oh, my crazy dog -- gross out warning!!

Posted by jammerlich on March 24, 2006, at 9:49:04

Ok, so it's not terribly uncommon for one of the cats to vomit after their morning meal. One of my cocker spaniels knows that wretching sound and comes running when he hears it becuase he knows it means extra for him. Yes, I know it's disgusting, but it's less for me to clean up and he doesn't try to lick, so I don't stop him.

Well, now he seems to think of the cats as food factories. They just ate and he's pacing back and forth between them. Sometimes he'll stop in front of one for a bit, staring her down, before he moves back to the other.

Just thought I'd share. Gross, yes, but it gives me a chuckle.

my 2nd cat used to try and do that with my 1st cat's vomit...it was so disgusting, but some part of me didn't mind that I wouldn't be the one to have to clean up that warm squishy wet mess ewwww!! now we are both sick

Yuck but it did make me laugh!
I've just got back from walking my cocker spaniel, chaucer, and his little side kick Ollie (a 'sprussell' a cross between a springer spaniel & a jack russell) and BOTH decided to eat sheep poo!
I think I laughed too soon because i now have 2 dogs with the worst breath ever!
