I just got out of the hostpital yesterday.
I had a CAT scan because i was hit 50mph on the passanger side and my head slamed into the top of the car hard. I chipped my frount tooth and bit my chin which is how i lost it. There are scar marks all over my chin, i got out of the car and people got out of there cars and told me to get on the floor, because i didnt know that i was hit on the back of my head, which had blood coming down.
The good thing was that there was an ambulance that was 2 cars behind me when i made the turn on a green light i was hit on the passanger side at 50mph. They came out and carried me into the ambutlance because of the blood on the floor.
I swear this is the most worst accident i have been in.
I am on:
Skelexin 800
Vicodin 1-2 every 4-6 hours.The good thing is that i am alive.
I will be posting i have got to got alot of insurance to deal with.
Im still here thank god.

No, i went in yesterday after seeing my psychologist, after it i was turning onto a high way from a street.
I stayed over night, the cat scan said that i had a sist in the back of my head that didnt realate to the accident.
Im ok, i have a few scratches. My car is in the pound, towed away. But i am dizzy when i get up because i had a bad hit to the head.
No, i will take pictures of my car and my face if you want.
I just wanted to tell what happened.
My mom and my stepdad just left to go to the pound to see my car to see if it is drivable, and get it. I dont know if it was my right away to turn because the light was green but there was no green arrow so i dont know if i was suppost to yield.
My face is scrached up, my tooth is chipped i have to get a cap for it.
I just cant belive this happened. My mom is going nuts becuase of the insurance and plus i had 3 tickets to deal with which is going to make my insurace go UP.
My danm mustang is i dont know, i didnt see it because i got out of the car so fast. So i dont know if it is drivable.

One more reason it makes sense to know the rules of the road, all available in the driver's handbook...
But here's some advice from someone who's a lot older than you are: it's always wisest to assume that the other person has the right of way, because even if they don't, they're just as likely to take it. Right of way is meaningless unless the other party allows it to you.

I don't know if you're on meds (Wellbutrin to be exact)but check w/ your doc if you are. Not good w/ head injuries.

thank goodness you're OK. It sounds like a horrible accident. I'm glad that you made it through, and I hope you heal quickly and that the pain gets better soon. Please take care of yourself!

Matt, I'm so glad you're okay. I was in an accident two years ago. I wasn't hurt, but my car was totaled. I remember I stayed home from work for 3 days because I had whiplash and was just sore all over. I guess its the jolt that does that. So you should be prepared for an even longer recovery time with your injury.
I had a surreal feeling after the whole thing. It just didn't seem possible that it had really happened.
Try not to worry too much about the insurance/car thing - what will happen will happen. It can be unbelievably frusterating, but you can't let it take over your life.
Take care of yourself and get alot of rest.
