Alrighty then...
This empty nest stuff isn't half bad. As usual, my anticipation of how I would handle it contained more dread and lamenting than (SO FAR) has turned out to be the reality of the situation.
Granted, it's still a fresh change and only a few weeks have passed, but *so far*, it's going well.

Yes, I'm sure that's helped the transition for me. It's been a pretty neat experience - much nicer than I thought before it happened.
