Adam and Eve and Eve and Eve......... - Redux

Posted by Glydin on February 16, 2006, at 15:18:18

Does anyone else remember this - the site someone posted several years ago with the guy who had a website advertising for 6-8 ready, willing, and able breeding women? His intention was to develop a family (families). The site was rich with details of the ideas for how this type of life was to be - to include SCHEDULES. Very detailed…. At least it was informed consent.

I followed the site for quite a while and then POOF, it was gone. One of the last times I went to his site, he did complain that it had been the subject of harassment and the like.

In the photos he posted, he resembled Iggy Pop.

I wonder how that all worked out for him? (smile)

Just curious if any one else recalls this…..????

I don't.

Recall that is.

But this brought a smile and chuckle anyway!

Yea boy, had it been me, I may have rethought the idea of the: "This is what I look like" page.

I do so wish it was still available. I think it helped me with treatment of my agoraphobia. After studying it awhile I realized I really DID need to get out of the house.

Yes, the site really did exist. It is no longer available. A coincidence, when I went to do some searching back, I discovered the link was posted here around Valentine's in 2004. When I googled the address I discovered it was a very popular topic in early blogs and discussion groups. All that attention must have made for a fast flame out. Sure was interesting while it lasted.

The 'net was my touch to the outside when my agoraphobia was at its peak but, it was a false and illusional involvement in what life should be. It is a h*llish disorder. I am MORE than grateful to have achieved remission.

I am very fortunate and I never take it for granted. The way I see it, I pray to have a long, long remission but I never consider myself "cured". I think my psych challenges will always be a part of me. Therefore, the potential is there for return. While it would seem this would be a "downer", this thinking actually makes me more comfortable and less fearful. It also keeps me in tune and empathatic to folks who still struggle - it makes me very sad that so many cannot find a good treatment.
