I was hungry when I got home so I had some cornflakes. I ate them without milk. They were pretty good. Does anyone else eat them without milk?
Has anyone ever had chocolate covered grasshoppers or other bugs?
There's this candy store downtown that sells some. I'm thinking it would be a fun dare. I think I would eat it.

Are you stoned or something? ;-) just kidding.
I am mortified by crickets and grasshoppers, as well as any big bugs. Spiders don't bother me so much for some reason. Also, I'm fine with rats, snakes, lizards, etc. Big bugs and grasshoppers freak me out like crazy. I think it borders on on phobia.

LOL I would like to try getting stoned one day...I think it might be fun. :-)

I don't like bugs at all. Usually I'm afraid of them. I don't even like fruit flies, but I'm willing to tolerate them...ie. if I don't I won't pass my lab experiment ;-)

Strange...
Then again, I'm a bit strange myself. I think I would be afraid of mice and rats. I'm not afraid of pet mice and rats though...go figure!
I wish I could find wild hamsters. That would be so cute.

Hamsters are so freaking cute! I always think of this cartoon my nephew used to watch, but I can't remember the name. The main characters were hamsters. I think the name began with a 'H;.

Confession time again. When I was young (late teens, early twenties) I would swallow bugs as a party trick. I wouldn't chew, just wash down with beer. No roaches! I'd do it quietly where only one or two people would notice and they would either freak out or start laughing.
I've never done chocolate ones though.
I was one weird one.

I would eat one. I actually nearly ordered some off the internet once, but they were kind of pricy. But someday I think I'll do it!
I once ate a crispy deep-fried worm covered with cheese powder. By the time the processing was done, it was crispy and hollow like a pork rind, and therefore not really a worm anymore. It tasted like a cheese puff.
And as a kid, my sister and I used to eat ants "raw" (only sometimes.) They tasted spicy and kind of acidic.
If you get the grasshoppers, tell me how they are!

sometimes I like cereal best w/out milk. Sometimes I just eat handfuls of it like a snack. Once, as a kid, I tried eating cereal in a bowl with orange juice, but it wasn't good at all. My mom scolded me for wasting a perfectly good bowl of cereal AND OJ! I bet chocolate milk would be good, though -- sugary, but good!

Cool. I haven't searched the web for them. I'm not *that* keen on eating them. LOL

hi Deneb,
we would only eat one ant at a time. By the time it was on your tongue/teeth, it was already pretty much crunched and smashed and dead, so it didn't crawl around much. :) I don't know if I'd try this NOW, though! I guess I'm past that stage (happily.) Actually, we didn't even eat ants all that often. WE probably only did it 3-4 times. But I guess the times were quite memorable to me!JenStar

I've heard of people swallowing goldfish at parties...but not bugs. In the end, though, it's all just protein, right?
