When I was a kid, my mom told me you could tell what gender animal's were by picking up and flipping them over.
Maybe you could have someone close by do that to you?
Let us know... the suspense is killin' me.

I'm a girl!
Well, woman, I suppose. But I like to think of myself as a YOUNG woman even though I'm more rightly -- shudder at the title -- "middle" aged.JenStar

I used to be female. I still look like a female, but since I was on SSRI's, I have been sexless. This must be what it's like to be a spayed cat. I got off SSRI's a long time ago, but I fear I was neutered permanently.

I looked and started grinning and then just laughed. Yes that is true i hate SSRI's
I take Prozac 20mg, thats all, i cant stand serogenreric drugs, they dull me out.
Dopaminegeneric meds are better, i feel more alive, alert, and with it.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,
Well, I guess I have to have a sense of humor about it; either that, or start some huge class-action law suit against the makers of the SSRI's I took.
I agree with you to some extent about dopaminergic meds being better, but I do wish I could tolerate a multi-pronged approach to my depression that would affect several neurotransmitters. The very few times I've found a good combo that actually helped my mood, I ended up with high blood pressure and other problems. So, at the moment, like so many of us here, I'm kind of stuck.
Sarah
