smoking at the cash register at the jean store I worked in.
The news came on the radio and I remember people wandering out into the shopping mall, asking each other if it was true.ClearSkies

I was sitting home in CT at the time with my children who were young then. They announced it and I looked at the window and snow started falling at that instance. Fondly, Phillipa
