I think today (or was it yesterday?) is your birthday!
And it sounds like you are having a not so great day and I'm really really sad about reading that. So forget about what T3 said and do something just for you.
I remembered because today is my birthday too. So I scheduled an additonal appointment today with my T for my birthday treat (mainly due to her vacation all last week) and my husband took me out for lunch.

Looks like my day will involve something that needs to be done, but will mean that my husband won't be home on my birthday.
s'ok. As long as no one dies. That's my standard for a good birthday.
(What did you have for lunch? I'm dying for decent restaurant food!)

Hey - my daughter just shouted "My mom is a genius. I love you." Now that's a nice birthday present! (I solved a computer problem for her, which is a total role reversal for us, but now and then, I do have a good idea for solving a problem.)
Anyway, for lunch, we went to a deli by his office. And it was my first day of eating real solid foods (since Sunday) and I didn't pick a great choice ... a tuna melt and now my stomach is saying, "Girlfriend, just what the heck were you thinking eating a grilled sandwhich with mayo in it after eating just toast yesterday? Can you give me a break?" I guess there is nothing wrong with a little fasting right before the holidays!!!
It's been a nice day. I had the day off from work so I did lots of Christmas shopping after lunch.
I hope your day tomorrow goes way better than today.

I wanted to drive to see my therapist but he was discouraging.
It's not certain yet about my husband. It depends on when they can move his grandmother. It's important and I don't mind. I'm sure he'll make it up to me on my birthday trip to Huntsville in a couple of weeks.
If we can go, because his grandmother really isn't well.
He's all she's got left. She helped raise him and contributed to the person I love, so she's earned his time and attention.

I was planning to take off Thursday. But maybe I'll work and spend the money I earn on ME instead. :)
I am planning an absolutely decadent lunch. If I plan it for an odd time of day the wait may not be too bad.
