I was on Dr. Bob home page and theres all these colors to pick your favorite color from. Why????? It weirded me out. Also some link(Ecce Homo) to some guys(Friedrich Mietzsche) writing which I couldn't really understand. Then I looked at something else the same guy had written and it appeared to be rabidly anti Christian? I couldn't really understand it and it was freaking me out so I stopped reading it. Does anyone know what this means? Why does Dr. Bob have a link to this writer? I don't understand. The article was called the antichrist. I don't like this.
Muffled.

The colour thing has always been there. But the quote and the link... I think someone's been messing with Dr Bob's homepage. That is really worrying.

This is probably the book you saw an article on:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Antichrist
Yeah, Mr. Nietzsche defintely wrote some anti-Christian stuff in the 1800s. Free speech, you know :-) His opinions, interesting way of thinking about many things - religion, society, culture...and if I recall, pretty radical/shocking to many people at the time.
"God is dead!" - and so forth.

He was a German philosopher. His stuff is very tough for me to understand as well. But, me, I don't have the patience to slog through it. Wikipedia does a fair job of summarizing a lot of basics about him in the link above, in an understandable way, I thought.
Alex could help us all out a bunch, I'm sure :-)
I think.....the link on the home page starts with a joking reference, playing around with something Nietzsche wrote...but I also don't really understand the joke or reference...maybe it's linked to the actual writing to give proper credit for the small part Dr. Bob used...?
You could maybe ask Dr. Bob over on Admin?
I don't think anyone's been messing with the page, though. I seem to recall it's been this way for a long time...though I could be wrong.
and Muffled...SO glad you're still posting..

It seems like it's been there a long while to me, too.

Why does he want to know your favorite color? Is it a test? Fondly, Phillipa

nah...no test, it changes what color the text is where it greets you, e.g...
"Welcome, 10derHeart!" (or whatever name you tell it to call you) is in forest green for me, 'cause that's what I picked :-)
This is the end of the thread.
