I am under so much stress right now. Work, family visit, general madness. It's awful. Really awful. Any warm laps out there?

We could sit on the swings together and watch the cats playing in the grass. Then we can pick some flowers for our hair.
I'm sorry things are so rough for you now. I wish I had more words for you.

And I would bring you both some nice cool lemonade, or maybe a mint julep in a tall frosty glass with a spring of mint on the side. Or maybe you'd prefer a nice hot cup of tea with butter cookies on the side, or maybe a dry sherry?
Maybe the cats would come sit on your lap, you could put your head in mine.

Come on over...my dog is a great comfort and loves warm laps. She'll move over.

Warm drinks, cats, dogs ... and kind company! And hugs.
Thank you all so very much. It helps that you care.
Two more days of parents and work. If I had known I'd be working, I w ouldn't have invited them all, but I have to take the work as it comes.
Nest week I heave a big sigh: though I'll still be working, my folks will be back on their coast.
Thanks again, my kind friends.

I say we all go out to the cowboy bar, line dance to loud music and FORGET about all the "stuff" for awhile.
I'm glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope there were positive things to the visit too. Families are a blessing and a curse, aren't they?
