Actually I'm up north (Dallas/Fort Worth). I've been wondering if everyone down there, including the natives and evacuees, will end up here! That should be interesting. Its all crazy, but I'm glad we're able to give people shelter from the storm. How can you not help people in need? I just don't understand how people can not feel that tug at your heart when it comes to people who need help. Its what makes us human.

My husband told me after Katrina hit, " I have this feeling there's going to be another big one soon." How weird huh?
And I was just thinking , " If we have a massive earthquake here or Mt. St. Helen's has another huge blow, people will think Armageddon is soon."

Take care of yourself. I keep watching the radar to see if it takes a Northern turn quicker than predicted. If so, we are out of here. (Louisiana)

I am *from* Alabama but I live south of Seattle now.
I'm not close to the hurricane. Now if Mt. Rainier or Mt. St. Helen's blows, I'm in trouble.

Ok. The hurricane is now moving closer to Louisiana. I live in Southwest Louisiana. We are going to pack the camper this afternoon and we are headed Northeast.

Ok. My husband says that it is too late to leave. We are under a voluntary evacuation. I live in Ville Platte. It is Evangeline Parish. It is a good thing that the lexapro has kicked in.
I am not afraid of the hurricane per se. I am afraid of the tornadoes that may spawn from the Eastern part of the hurricane.
