I'll have a go at this...
since it's a typical Saturday here in the good ole heart of the USA....let me hazard an educated guess that gg is a college football fan....Tennessee Volunteers Vs. Florida Gators?
I'm sure gg will correct this if I'm wrong :-)
Me, I'm still deeply into our baseball season myself, so I have a pretty one-track sports mind this time of year...though I will casually follow professional football.....

And now I must sadly report that my cheer did not work. The Vols went down in defeat. And in de Swamp. :(
Dang it.

And I used to be very very into baseball. I like the Detroit Tigers, since I used to live in Detroit.

Good question. I moved to another part of the state when I was 2, so I don't really know where we lived. But I here a lot about a house on Greenview, so I suspect that was where I lived. No clue where that is, though.
My extended family are now in various suburbs of the city.

Sad??? I wasn't crying!! I was at a wedding reception when suddenly, from different parts of the room, cheers exploded (men w/phone/internet service). A wild ending. I left the house with the Spartys comfortably ahead ... what happened?

Well, sad from an ND perspective...ND caught up in the 4th quarter and they went into OT. ND made a field goal, but MSU made a touchdown. Oh well. MSU is usually ND's downfall--no matter how good ND is that year or how bad MSU is that year!
