I'm labouring... going to 2 sobriety meetings instead of into a foggy haze of margueritas and martinis. I'll skip the migraine in the morning.
I wish I could say it was a pleasure to do this today but it's still too new to me to be anything but utterly anxiety-inducing.
On the other hand... I still don't have to work tomorrow! What about youse guys? Any parties?

In the spirit of Labour Day, for the next week...every single person in the world should go on strike (who are they gonna fire...every single person on the planet???), and demand good, equal, fair pay (enough for food, rent/mortgage, water, health, education, good infrastructure spending:-)...and not go back to work until we have these, and 100 percent employment! Worldwide Strike...yaaaaa!!...That would be in the true spirit of Labour Day. :)

Big barbecue here with about 4 families. We plan on working on plans for our first church service, eating, having a good time, playing games',etc..
Then, kick all of them out early so we can get our kids' ready for the 1st day back to school tomorrow!

I'm off to the back yard to get in my little puddle of a pool, lay on my hot pink raft and work on my tan. Tan fat looks better than white fat! ROFL! See ya!

Don't forget the sunscreen. Otherwise you'll be full of little brown spots and wrinkles! Fondly, Phillipa

Wowee! Dayquil gives me slasher-movie-type hallucinations (shudder). I'm pooped from all my running around, but glad I did it, I guess. I do wonder when all this action woman stuff is going to catch up with me. My husband says he can't imagine how I'd ever find time to work with all the "activities" I'm doing now. All in the name of staying *just* crazy instead of drunk and crazy.
:-)
OK someone tell me to shut my gob now.

Stayed home, graded papers, fixed lunch. Brought the kids to a water slide.
Hey, what does ROFL mean?

I enjoyed the day off school (we started on the 24th... ugh...), went to play some wonderfully horrible tennis with a friend, and then spent the rest of the day making a pitiful attempt at doing homework.

That's my next suggestion to Dr. Bob a Board where abbreviated shorthand for posting. I had to ask a lot of times what LOL, ROFL, IMO, etc. meant. Fondly, Phillipa

I've always loved that expression, for some odd reason.

That's one of the funniest things I've seen on babble!
