Pertinent to this board's discussion on psychotropics only:
This comforts me whenever I think someone else is hurting me, or want to wonder why others think I'm hurting them, and comforts me. I don't feel comfortable knowing others feel I hurt them, even when I know other factors are at play.
My best friend was going through hard times one night, and I let him scream at me for 2 hours straight until he got it out of his system, and then finally admitted,
"Dude, you had nothing to do with this-- I'm sorry. My dad's in the hospital." I knew all along, so I just wanted to let him get it out of his system until he realized I was mute the whole time.
There's always 2 reasons why anyone does or says anything.
