I could use some of that giant bottle of cough syrup I threw out at my p-doc's office right about now.
I actually have a cough now. :-)
Hmmm...I could always just take some Tylenol 3's...the codeine should take care of my cough...but that may be cutting it close to abuse.
What do you think? Should I just get some dextromethorphan?

Actually, the last time I had a cough, my doctor prescribed me pills (codeine) instead of the syrup and said it worked better for her.
So it would take care of the cough.
It seems like when I used that cough syrup once, I really seemed to like it. LOL
Be careful with stuff that makes you feel too good.

You could try the thing with the steam... Heat water in a big pan. Take it off the stove. Put a dish towel over your head (I don't know why I do that, actually... maybe it helps in some way). Lean carefully over pan of water and inhale steam.
Well, it works for me.
