Do you use powder or liquid laundry detergent?
Yes, it is true. I only like to discuss the deeper issues of life and their meaning. ROFL

Hi spriggy,
once again, it's another thought-provoking question! Well, I usually use liquid detergent. My favorite brands are cheer, ALL, and Tide. And here's my special technique: I let the little bit of water fill the washer, then I put in the liquid and swish it around, then I put in the clothes. How about you? What is your favorite brand?

I use the same technique as you do..
I buy liquid. I typically use Tide Free (no dyes or perfumes), my youngest son has eczema so I buy that stuff for him.
I'm glad somebody appreciates my randomness. ROFL

Hmmm... I use liquid Tide, too. Perhaps it's use is a sign of mental illness? Or we could make it a sign of solidarity? (Raise your hand if you use liquid Tide AND you're depressed/anxious/panicked/or otherwise challenged.) And I bet your clothes get very dirty from rolling around on the floor all day!

Powder, but in those compacted cubes!
Tried liquid, but a) didn't fine one I wasn't slightly allergic to, and b) found it left a residue on the hottest wash (what I use for husband whote cotton work shirts!)

Just gone back to powder actually. When I did use liquid I too used the method described by JenStar. Not sure why I changed back. As long as it gets stuff clean and doesn't make me scratch or sneeze I'm not too worried.

liquid, always liquid. Why?...I don't know. One thing I know is that I absolutely HATE doing laundry.

Me too. My least favorite household chore.
I don't mind putting into the machine, it's the folding and putting it away part that I LOATHE.
This is the end of the thread.
