I had a similar threads to this.
Diffrent Topics, discussion, people, personalities.
There are people who dont really chat with others, so i think there is diversity on babble.
Do you think so?

> Do you think so?It's probably true, but I think it's inevitable. For example, I don't usually post to threads about medication because I know nothing about medication. And sometimes it's hard to jump in and post something about things I do know about if I don't know the people very well.
I guess some people are more shy than others. And sometimes people have more in common with one person than another. But I think that's probably true of any social group.
Does it bother you? Is there anyone you'd like to see talking to someone else? You could be a Babble matchmaker!

Yeah, I've never talked to Damos either but I adore his posts. He's so wise and caring.

I also haven't really talked with JenStar. But I like her a lot.
I think it takes quite a bit of time to get to know everyone. I suppose it would be possible to get to know people quicker if I babbled all day and all night. But then I'd never get any work done and my kids would starve and my marriage would fall apart!
I think it's a good idea to get to know a few people at first and then expand your horizons a bit, once you're comfortable with a few people.
Fortunately the people here aren't cliquey, so you can get to know everyone eventually!

Just thought I'd pop in and say G'day before my head gets too big from the nice things you guys said.
Had to LOL Matt, because I was actually trying to work out how to reply to you. Though of posting on your threads often. But just as often words have failed me. I find the first post to someone new really difficult, but am trying to reach out more.
Well, just about home time for me and I just wanted to say 'Hi'. Take care you two.

Hi Damos,
It's very nice to hear from you! I know what you mean about the first post to someone new. I don't find it so difficult with people who are new to Babble, but I sometimes find it a little daunting to engage with people who have been here a long time.
You take care too.
