Just curious.. My husband preached in a church about an hour away. I didn't fall sleep until the wee hours of the morn' so I didn't go with him.Wondering if anybody else worshipped today?

I didn't go to church, but I had a nice conversation with a couple of mormon missionaries. Does that count?

Me neither, I remember when I had to, I really liked the way it smelled though.

Yes, usually we make a great black sabbath with 12 maidens and an upside down cross ;-)

Spriggy,
I'm sorry this thread went sideways. It seemed like a simple question to me.

Thanks Gabbi. That's okay, I'm a big girl and have a weird sense of humor. I don't get offended very easily.

I suppose.. it would be silly to expect straightforward responses from babblers and that's part of what makes it so much fun here.

Spriggy,
I did! Well, sort of. Actually I went Sunday, not today. I just now saw this post. And we went to Sunday School instead of the worship service. I don't sleep well either, and it is hard for me to get there before 10:30. Usually we just go to the worship service, but our pastor is on vacation so we thought we would visit with old friends in Sunday School instead.
Hugs,
MidnightBlue

Hi, I'm always suprised at how the mere mention of religion always drives people to talks of satanism. Why does it make one want to go running with high pitched laughter into the night, screaming about demons? For myself, this question is easily answered (too much catholicism) and a lot of rebellion. I always have to watch myself on this subject.

fyi...I am not a Satanist nor do I pretend to be one. I just was a little wacky in Jr. High and learned about it from some friends who were dabbling in it. hahaha! :-P

yes, I actually think it's pretty funny too. Like how interesting would it be at parties to be like "Oh yeah, I'm a satanist, you should come to our annual picnic." What's even more fun is how much such a discussion would freak out my family. My sister is horrified by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" because of its "evilness" and she won't allow her children to dress up for Halloween, so I have a field day messing with her!!
