I think I want to live a hedonistic life. I want to do whatever I want to as long as it doesn't harm others. Learning and achieving is a big source of pleasure for me...so I will continue on with school for as long as I want. I will use my money for travel and to buy cool gagets and games. :-) I'm not going to worry about meeting my "soul mate" or whatever...I think I'll be perfectly happy being without a partner. I want to be independent...going wherever the wind takes me. (sorry about cliche)
My Mom is not happy at all that I think this way...she thinks I need a partner to grow old with. Hmmm...I don't know, I don't seem to get very lonely...I like being by myself. My reason for living is to experience as much as I can experience, to learn as much as I can. This is why I should not kill myself yet...because there is soooo much to explore. :-)

Helping others gives me joy...so it can also be a part of my life. It can sometimes involve sacrifice...but...
I would not want to be happy all the time...I want to experience all emotions, to learn from them...to make life interesting.

I think most moms want to see their kids "settled," but you're still very young. And some people never do want to get married. You have plenty of time! Don't be pressured into something you don't want. Your parents may be a lot more "into" older cultural mores than you are.
I think travelling is fun. It would be great to find a job that supports it, no?
have a good evening!
