I know I've said it before...
But I really do think it is true.
Sure I struggle sometimes
But everyone struggles sometimes
Sure I get down sometimes
But everyone gets down sometimes.:-)
The labels don't help...
They just drag me down
Provide leverage for peoples assumptions
Make negative predictions about my future.F*ck that
time to move on...

Best share it around methinks...
Sorry peoples
Have been in a funny mood.
Just found out I won't be getting any treatment in Oz
If I end up over there
They have changed the laws
NZers only qualify for 'emergency' general health
And we aren't officially international
To qualify for student health insurance. So there it is.
I'm just not allowed to ever get sick again :-(Well... Not for the next 4 years or so anyways...
Sorry

So I guess Oz is now officially the sucky country. Cause that news sure sucks.
Well, if you get here and I'm still employed I'll add you to my health insurance if it's possible so don't worry about it, okay. I think I've made two claims in 24 years. Easy fixed.
Just hoping I didn't use the egg whisk by mistake when I did Larry's spell cause it don't work quite the same as the magic wand.

Well...
I might just add it to the list of sucky countries ;-)There might possibly be a way around it. Apparantly the 'loophole' (that NZ students get resident health care benefits after 6 months) has only just been closed. People coming out just now with PhD's are the last to get that. If I do get a place I shall hit them up about health insurance.
Thing is student health insurance tends to cover pre-existing conditions.
If I have to get health insurance myself then there isn't any way I could afford the coverage on all my pre-existings..
> Well, if you get here and I'm still employed I'll add you to my health insurance if it's possible so don't worry about it, okay. I think I've made two claims in 24 years. Easy fixed.Hmm. Can you just 'add people'. You could always adopt me, I suppose ;-)

I'm not sure whether there is any cure for ODing on butter tarts ;-)> ((((((((((Alex))))))))))

I just feel so very tired...
I don't know why I get this strange urge to pronounce myself cured every now and then.
Keeps the despair at bay I suppose.I'm sorry...

that so sucks.
do you feel you can feasibly wait four years for treatment?
you and damos could get married in name only for his coverage (not that i'm advocating circumventing the system!)

Well here's hoping for the loophole.
I'll actually ring my health fund on Monday and find out. Wow, adoption didn't think of that. Not sure I'd make much of a dad though :-)
Hmmm, I think maybe it's because there's more chance of you curing yourself, than anybody else doing it based on the evidence so far.
There's nothing to be sorry for, okay. Not ever.
Lots of love from me and puppy.

Ah Ana, always the matchmaker, you definitely get a 10 for persistence. Guess it's an option, though I doubt that I could ever be worthy of someone like Alex under any circumstances. But seriously, it would be a true honour even if it was only on paper.

> I'm not sure whether there is any cure for ODing on butter tarts ;-)No, I don't think the spell took. Maybe it dissipated when crossing the International Date Line? I'm struggling, most days. I could only manage 12 billable hours this week.
The butter tarts I got at the farmer's market today weren't magic ones. I could tell by looking, but I bought some anyway. I guess there's an art to that, too.
But, I did get a rhea egg. About 12-14 cm or so long, and fat and heavy. One egg made a lovely fluffy scramble for me and the boys.
Anyway, I must get back to them.
Hugs,
Lar

The only possible flaw would be if the adoptee has to be a minor :-(

Ah, I doubt I could afford him :-(
People pay between NZ$30-$40 thousand dollars to buy kiwi citizenship these days, I'd hate to think how much Aussie citizenship would cost ;-)There was a documentary on this the other night.
$30,000 for a kiwi (nativeborn) marrige partner
$40,000 for a chinese/kiwi marrige partner.
Why more for the latter? Because it is less likely to be queried...They said it wasn't all that hard to pull off...

I think butter tart addiction might be terminal :-(Best not try and bring 'em through customs ;-)
Though I bet they'd be great with hokey pokey ice cream

I still feel in a pretty damaged state at times. I sleep for about 16 hrs a day, and I suspect Seroquel to be what puts me in an "instant coma". Not only that, I have very vivid dreams that make "good deep" sleep impossible. Music usually is the only thing that can bring me out of my 'funk'. So...I am buying album after album...now listening to 'Be Yourself' by Audioslave. Oh, my favourite headache has returned...."We are just between the ice ages anyways.."...so...
